According to constant guidelines from the University Grants Commission (UGC) since 1998, to establish a permanent cell and a committee; to develop guidelines to fight against sexual harassment and violence against women and ragging at university and college level. Sanskrithi framed the institute level policy for Anti Sexual Harassment Committee and an Anti Sexual Harassment Committee dedicated for this purpose.
1. The threat of unfavourable treatment at work.
2. Physical or behavioural misconduct that harms a person's personality.
3. Negative verbal or nonverbal behaviour that results in sexual harassment.
1. To develop a system for the institution's use in the prevention and resolution of cases of sexual harassment and other forms of gender-based violence
2. To deal with situations of sexual harassment and gender bias quickly by offering sympathetic assistance to the victim and making sure that harassment is avoided by handling the issue correctly.
3. To encourage a social and psychological atmosphere that will increase understanding of sexual harassment in all of its forms.
4. Handle incidents of sexual harassment and/or gender discrimination quickly, ensuring the victim receives the proper support services, and maintaining the secrecy of the conciliation process.
